December 27th
It is 8:45am on December 27th. I woke up about 3 hours ago and am currently on an airplane. My family and I are headed to the Bahamas for the first time ever. I am so excited to see what this vacation has in store. I am craving the beach, the sunshine, and just some heat!

December 28th
First day in the Bahamas, here we go. I ate the most nasty nachos last night and am currently sitting by the pool as the rain sprinkles down on us… just keeping my fingers crossed the weather gets better.

Took a walking tour of the island today! The history behind this country is spectacular. I am not typically a huge history/museum person, but every square inch of this city is loaded with culture, meaning, and history. The weather today was amazing! We checked out some of the old, historic buildings, environmental, landmarks and more. The colors here are so vibrant they look photoshopped!

December 31st
Nothing better than a Colorado mountain girl sitting by the pool in 80*F weather on New Years Eve. Had some fabulous pizza for dinner and walked around Atlantis with some of my favorite Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. So thankful for the time to relax and spend time with my family.

January 1st
Who in their right mind would not be thrilled to ring in the new year by spending a day at the Atlantis water park? The fam and I had a blast riding water slides, hanging at the beach, and just having a blast!
January 3rd
Today we spent our day at the beach and doing some sight seeing around the island. Then we dressed up, walked down the beach, and finished the night off at a cute little burger shack down by the water. I can’t believe this amazing trip is coming to an end, but I am so blessed to have been able to take a break in the midst of the other stressful parts of life.

January 4th
Last full day. Last day at the pool. Last time on the beach for a while. But I have loved every second of being here.
January 5th
Currently sitting on a plane trying not to think about all of things I have coming up, all of my responsibilities back at home, and how stressful this next semester is going to be. But rather reflecting on my amazing trip, how excited I am to see my pony and my friends, and all of the other blessings in my life. I thank God for all that he has blessed me with and I will never stop.
