Ever seen those adorable little pop tart horse treats that everyone takes pictures of? Yeah, chances are they are from Snaks 5th Avenchew. Only the cutest treat company that makes handmade cookies, donuts, pop tarts, and cannolis all for horses and dogs!
I have been a follower of Snaks 5th Avenchew for the past 8 months but it wasn’t until recently that I forked out $27 to try some of these treats for myself. All I can say now is that I am hooked!
After having been on the website a countless amount of times, I knew exactly what I wanted when I decided to purchase. I picked up a dozen mini pop tarts and a dozen mini donuts. They were each 1 dozen treats for $12.99. I used Devyn Looney’s Snaks discount code and received 10% off my order.
About the Treats
The treats took almost 3 weeks to arrive (when purchasing you are warned that orders take at least 2 weeks to process). They came nicely wrapped in bubble wrap and orange crinkly paper. I also found some candy, a S5A sticker, and a coupon code in my box!
The donuts came in a nice large resealable bag and the pop tarts came in a smaller bag, that, unfortunately, was not resealable. Both came nicely decorated with rainbow sprinkles as well!
Both the donuts and poptarts are made of only 4 simple, human grade ingredients. The website states, “Snaks 5th Avenchew provides pets with all-natural treats that are free of wheat, grain, corn and soy; reducing more than 95% chance of a food allergy.” S5A offers sugar-free options for those on low/no-sugar diets. All ingredients are also USEF and FEI safe! They conveniently come with an expiration date taped on the package as well!
I must say, Penelope absolutely loves these treats! Especially because Penelope is only fed hay, I don’t mind giving her one or two of these at the end of my ride 🙂 I love to spoil my pony, and who else doesn’t?
The donuts are about 1.5 inches in diameter and the pop tarts are about 1 inch by 2 inches long. And I must say, they smell amazing! Because the donuts are so thick I have a very hard time breaking them apart, so if you intend on breaking the treats in half or have a horse with weak teeth, the pop tarts are the Snaks for you! ❤

Not only does Snaks 5th Avenchew offer horse treats, but they sell dog treats as well! So don’t worry, you can share the S5A love with your canine companion as well! As said earlier, if your pony has dietary restrictions S5A offers sugar free options! And in case you were worried, none of S5A’s treats contain chocolate. Not even their ChocoNOT Chip Cookies or Cannolis!
